NAD+ and Glutathione

If you have booked with us before or looked through our menu, you have probably noticed NAD+ and glutathione come up a lot. We get asked about both almost every week, so we wanted to actually explain what they do.

NAD+

NAD+ is a coenzyme that every cell in your body uses to make energy. Given through IV, it goes straight into your bloodstream instead of your digestive system, which is a big part of why people notice it faster than a supplement.

• Fuels cellular energy and repair, which is why low levels tend to show up as fatigue or slower recovery
• Naturally declines with age
• Alcohol burns through it faster, so if you know a big weekend is coming, get your drip before rather than after. You will have more in reserve to actually get through it, instead of just recovering afterward
• Tied to anti aging, since it plays a direct role in how well your cells repair themselves over time

Glutathione

This one gets called the body's master antioxidant, and for good reason. It is one of the main things your cells use to clear out free radicals and support detox, especially in the liver.

• Made naturally by the body, but stress, poor sleep, alcohol, and everyday toxins burn through it quickly
• Supports your immune system
• A favorite for skin, clients often notice a brighter, more even tone with regular use

Both of these are hard for your body to absorb as pills, which is really the whole reason we give them by IV instead.
